Example Use:
In a highway construction zone, a section of the road is being repaved and is temporarily reduced to a single lane, with traffic from both directions needing to utilize this lane. To manage this situation and ensure that vehicles from both directions don't collide, a 'Pilot Car Follow Me' sign is employed. As traffic accumulates from one direction, a pilot car with the 'Follow Me' sign prominently displayed moves in front of the queue. Motorists are instructed to only proceed when following this pilot car. The pilot car then safely leads the group of vehicles through the construction zone and to the other end, ensuring that they drive at a safe speed and do not veer into hazardous areas. Once the pilot car has led one group through, it returns to the opposite end and repeats the process for vehicles coming from the other direction. This system ensures a controlled and orderly flow of traffic through the compromised construction zone.
