Low Shoulder Signs

A Low Shoulder Sign is a warning sign that alerts drivers to a shoulder drop-off, where the elevation difference between the shoulder and the travel lane is 3 inches or less. The danger of a car dropping off the shoulder lies in the potential for the driver to lose control or overcorrect when attempting to return to the travel lane, which can lead to accidents or rollovers.
Low Shoulder Sign Details:
- Sign is manufactured on durable rust-proof .080" aluminum
- Pre-punched 3/8" mounting holes in top and bottom for easy installation.
- Meets M.U.T.C.D. specifications for highway use.
