Example Use:

As Amelia drove through the unfamiliar countryside, she encountered a 'Dead End' sign posted at the beginning of a narrow lane called Willow Way. This sign was a clear indication to her that if she continued down Willow Way, she would ultimately reach a point where the road would terminate, without intersecting or connecting to any other road. With the goal of exploring as many areas as possible, Amelia realized that driving down this path would not provide her with any alternate routes or shortcuts, and she'd eventually have to turn around and retrace her path back to the main road. The sign effectively communicated the lack of through traffic, saving her from a potentially unnecessary detour.
